プリンセス・オブ・クリスタルのバンクの台詞「イマージーン！」は（挿入歌の歌詞の続きから分かるように）ジョン・レノンの名曲『 Imagine 』です。
イクニ監督の話によると、原案ではこれが「チェンジ・ザ・ワールド！」だったそうです。元ネタはエリック・クラプトンの『 Change the World 』らしい。この曲は＜僕の愛で君の世界を変えてあげたい＞という、このアニメの「愛の話だよ」がストレートに分かる歌詞となっています。

晶馬から苹果、冠葉から陽毬。手渡される星は、きっと赤く輝くアンタレス（蠍の火）つまりピングドラムなんだよ！！！…なんて考えるとグッとくる。というわけで、ピングドラム風味に意訳してみました。
